Stories For Boys

Bringing people's attention to females with eating disorders is not difficult and, in fact, has been done to death (pun intended) and so I am trying my best to include plenty of stuff on this website that covers MALES and eating disorders.

Among the unlucky lads to have eating disorders are...

"J" from the band the Fabulous Five (U.K.)

musician Daniel Johns...

and actor Billy Bob Thorton below:

I will be adding some articles written by males with eating disorders shortly... In the meantime, though, as females certainly don't escape the cartoon images of girl anorexia, neither do the males... here is one cartoon I found:

The Pilsbury Anorexic Boy

and no, of course I don't think male anorexia is something to joke about... but when anything becomes widespread it all becomes game for people to poke fun at. If you want to see more of these guy's cartoons, go here www.teddave.com

Yes, this is a guy... an adorable guy in my opinion! Brian does not have an eating disorder as far as I know. He's the lead singer of Placebo which is one of the best bands in the world (America has been sadly underexposed but Europe has not; to hear them go here) and I recently saw their show at the House of Blues and it was beautiful.
