I am 100% aware that they are VERY SERIOUS illnesses and that people are in tremendous pain and often die from disordered eating. I would not spend the time and money on this web site unless I felt that way! However, I am able to appreciate humor, including "black" or sarcastic humor. I have found jokes about eating disorders funny only because I have direct experience with eating disorders and I have learned it is VITAL to be able to laugh at human behavior, because everything is too serious otherwise.
